Infinity Pool is a 2023 science fiction horror film written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg, and starring Alexander Skarsgård, Mia Goth and Cleopatra Coleman1. The film follows a struggling writer and his wife on vacation who, after an accident, discover the country’s dark culture. The film begins with James Foster (Skarsgård), a novelist who suffers from writer’s block, and his wife Em (Coleman), who works as a lawyer, arriving at a luxurious resort in the fictional country of Li Tolqa12. They are greeted by friendly staff and enjoy the amenities of the place, including an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. They also meet Gabi (Goth), a young woman who claims to be a fan of James’ only published novel, and her husband Alban (Jalil Lespert), a photographer.
