“Shiryo no Wana” (also known as “Evil Dead Trap”) is a Japanese horror film directed by Toshiharu Ikeda and written by Takashi Ishii. It is a violent and gory slasher film that mixes elements of mystery, thriller, and supernatural horror. The film follows Nami, a late-night TV host who receives a mysterious videotape that shows a woman being tortured and killed in an abandoned factory. She decides to investigate the source of the tape with her crew, hoping to find a scoop for her show. However, when they arrive at the factory, they find themselves trapped in a maze of death traps set by a masked killer. The film reveals that the killer is actually Nami’s brother, who was born with severe deformities and was hidden by their mother in the factory. The film ends with a shocking twist, where Nami kills her brother but is then attacked by the embryo, which bursts out of her stomach and devours her.
